20TH ANNUAL TELECON AWARDS PRESENTED AT TELECON CONFERENCE & EXPO

SANTA ANA, CA October 24, 2001 – The 20th Annual TeleCon Awards, a salute recognizing the best products, applications and services for collaboration, conferencing and e-learning were  presented this week at the TeleCon 2001 Conference & Expo.  Individuals and organizations attending the event in Anaheim, who have built or utilized a collaborative system that delivers outstanding service were recognized for their achievements. This year's judges selected from hundreds of award entries. 


Dr. S. Ann Earon, IMCCA; Carla Lane, Education Coalition; and Mike Pihlman, Berkeley Labs judged the category for Application/Users.  They presented the first place award for the most innovative use in videoconferencing to Internet2 for the Megaconferences.

TeleCon Conference & Expo, the leading show and conference for solutions for enhanced communications, was held October 22-25, 2001 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.  The show featured a broad array of hardware and software solutions, making TeleCon Expo a key industry event covering all aspects of content collaboration and the most current technology available.
